Welcome to the Academy
Our training space was purposefully designed to feel calm, personal, and inspiring, just like the experience we want to create for our hair loss clients. Nestled in a beautifully restored flower mill with exposed brick, original wooden beams, and large windows overlooking the river, the academy offers an intimate setting for meaningful learning. With small group classes (max 3 students) and private training available, this is education with heart, in a space that reflects everything we stand for.
Meet your educator

“Helping stylists change the lives of women experiencing hair loss is powerful, but watching those same stylists transform their own lives in the process is why I do what I do. I love seeing people fall back in love with their work, find balance, and finally get paid what they’re worth.”
Sharni Knighton

Private Education
Our one-on-one training days are designed to provide you with the space, attention, and support you need to grow with confidence. Whether you're just starting your hair loss journey or looking to refine your technique, private sessions allow us to tailor the education entirely to you. You’ll leave not only with new skills, but with clarity and direction.
Group Classes
We keep our group training intentionally small, no more than three stylists at a time, so every student gets hands-on support in a calm, welcoming environment. These sessions are perfect for learning alongside like-minded professionals, sharing ideas, and building connections in an intimate setting that encourages collaboration and growth.
Podcast & Popup Events
Our academy isn't just for training, it’s a creative hub for the community, too. We record episodes of the Tell Her podcast here, creating a space for real and powerful conversations. We also host pop-up events, meet-ups, and brand experiences in the studio, bringing together hair professionals and clients in ways that educate, inspire, and connect.
What to Expect on the Day
Your training day, step by step Training runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a relaxed lunch break in between. We’ll start with a warm chat about your goals and expectations, followed by practical hands-on work using doll heads to help build confidence and problem-solving skills. You’ll leave with a CPD-certified certificate — and if you're up for it, we’ll take a photo or short content clip to introduce you to my audience!
What to Bring With You
Tools, prep & what’s provided We’ll provide everything you need including your full kit, dolly head to take home, notepad and pens. That said, feel free to bring your favourite combs or tools you can’t live without. Please make sure you’ve read your workbook and completed the online pre-training before arrival, so we can focus on building your practical skills together.
Food & Lunch Options
Bring your own or explore nearby cafés You’re welcome to bring lunch and eat at the academy, or take a break and enjoy the riverside air. We have The Bridge Street Café in our building perfect for coffee, snacks, and hot meals. Nearby you’ll also find Costa, McDonald's, Prezzo, and Tesco/Lidl for easy grab-and-go options.
Aftercare & Ongoing Support
Support doesn’t stop at 5PM After training, you’ll have lifetime access to your online learning portal, plus continued support through our private Instagram group and WhatsApp community. I usually reply to questions in the evening you’re never on your own. My goal is to help you build a profitable, ethical hair loss business you truly love.
